Brush Car 621, formerly prototype Brush Car 284 of 1937, now has a bright future at Beamish following agreements with FHLT during October.
The Trust's unique prototype 'Centenary' Car 641 built by East Lancashire Coachbuilders in Blackburn in 1984 could be set for a celebratory role in 2015.
The Trust have received an inquiry they will be pursuing that could see 726 preserved and restored. Discussions are at a very preliminary stage.
Repainting of tram 290 both inside and out involved a lot of tender loving care by our Trustees with support from friends at Builders Supplies (West Coast) Ltd., Blackpool Illuminations, Links Signs and Graphics, and interested public.
